Conway, SC -- Ricky Thomas Nowell, 68, of Conway, SC and formerly of Franklinton, NC, passed away on April 25, 2026. Ricky was born in Franklin County, NC on March 26, 1958 to the late John Thomas and Anne Rose "Patty" Perry Nowell.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Nowell.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Karen Nowell; his son, Keith Nowell; stepson, John DeGumba; daughter, Kimberly Lyons; his sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Ricky Piper; a nephew; and numerous aunts, uncle, and cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, with Pastors Carl Hunter and Becky Bishop officiating.
