Robert Allen Watkins

LOUISBURG, NC--Robert Allen Watkins, 79, of Louisburg, died Monday, May, 13, 2024. He was born to the late Maylon Elmo and Helen Parrish Watkins in Franklin County on August 3, 1944.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, John Robert Watkins; three sisters, Mary Norris, Mildred Cooke, and Margaret Edwards; three brothers, William "Billy" Ruffin Watkins, M.E. Watkins, and Charles Watkins; and a niece.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Misty Salter, and Jordan Perrault (Lowell); five grandchildren, friends, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 17, at Mount Gilead Church, 2545 NC Hwy 561, Louisburg, and will be officiated by Pastor Larry Ayscue. Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 111 Laurel Mill Rd, Louisburg. Family will receive friends and visitors immediately following the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to be made to Mount Gilead Church, PO Box 564, Louisburg, NC.

Funeral arrangements are by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services of Louisburg.
