WILLIAM "BILL" E. GLOVER
April 30, 1938 - December 20, 2019

LOUISBURG - Bill Glover, 81, of Louisburg, NC passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of December 20th, 2019. He was born April 30th, 1938, in Nash County. In his last days Bill was surrounded by his family that he loved dearly! Bill was a retired electrician from the city of Rocky Mount. In his retirement he loved spending time with his family, woodworking and fishing.

Bill was born to the late Ellie and Gladys Glover of Nashville, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Mae Kuhn, Zelma Gray Hammock, Barbara Ann Tyson, Jeanette Glover, Grandson Frankie Glover, and Granddaughter Kira Coleson.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Christine Tant Glover; daughter, Kay Wester (Richard) of Whitakers; son, Frank Glover (Debbie) of Nashville; grandchildren, Juan Nunez, Kellie Nunez Tomaszewski (John), Holly Glover Underwood; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Tabby, Sabrina, Josh, Serenity, Tyler and Gabriel; sister, Patricia Haynes (WC) of Raleigh; brother, Stan Glover (Cathy) of Morganton; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Leonard & Joyce Qualk (Bill); brother-in-law, Tony Parrish (Anna); many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held 2 p.m. Monday at Rock Spring Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends immediately following the burial in the church fellowship hall.
