DIANNE A. NOBLES

LOUISBURG--Dianne Avery Nobles, 73 of Louisburg transitioned peacefully into eternal rest at her home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. A native of Cove City, NC, Dianne called Louisburg home for over 45 years along with her loving husband, Tucker. Dianne is the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Avery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Jeanette Avery; brothers-in-law, Jack Nobles Jr. and Street Richardson.

She was a devoted member of Louisburg United Methodist Church. Dianne was an accomplished musician, currently serving with dedication as the pianist at her church. Prior to that, she served as the organist at Louisburg Baptist Church for 27 years. Dianne was a graduate of Jones Central High School, Hardbarger Business College and Louisburg College. She was also a long-time employee of Louisburg College, working in the alumni and development office until her retirement.

While Dianne was well known throughout the community for her musical talent, the biggest love in her life was her family. She and Tucker were married for 54 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Patrick (Dianna) of Dunn and Daniel (Carole) of Louisburg. She is also survived by her four beloved grandchildren: Jared Nobles (Susan) of Charlotte, Hannah Nobles of Louisburg, Gregory Nobles of Dunn and Jacob Nobles of Dunn, all of who she affectionately referred to as the Grands. Additionally, she is survived by brothers, Terry Avery of Cove City and Mike Avery of Washington, NC, sister-in-law, Peggy Richardson of Clinton and numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial service celebrating Dianne's life will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Louisburg United Methodist Church, 402 N. Main St Louisburg, NC with Dr. Mike Safley and the Reverend Anita Carnes officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Music Fund of Louisburg United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 667 Louisburg, NC 27549. Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC 27549. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
