Louisburg, NC -- David Achenbach, 62, died peacefully at his home in Louisburg, NC on August 3, 2026.
Born October 17, 1963, and raised in central Pennsylvania, he is the son of the late Alfred and Sonia Achenbach.
He is survived by his wife, Stacey; sisters Sandra Achenbach Sellers, Kim Carmona, and Melanie Donmoyer; brother John Achenbach; step-mother Sue Achenbach; step-sister Lori Delbo, several nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of his life in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Nash County Animal Shelter, 3600 Eastern Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or Franklin County Animal Shelter, 351 T Kemp Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
