GARNER, NC -- Sheryl Marie Hunt, 73, of Garner, NC, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 17, 2026, at her residence.
Sheryl was born July 16, 1952, in Raleigh, NC, to Robert Blackwood and Julia Blackwood.
She is survived by her children, William Pendergraft and his wife Cristy, Joshua Pendergraft and his wife Kristyn, and Tabitha Hunt and her husband Jette; four grandchildren; a nephew and family.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home on Monday, June 29, at 6 p.m.
The family will receive friends for visitation following the service in the Magnolia room of Bright Funeral Home.
