ZEBULON, NC -- Emma "Sue" Harris, 85, of Zebulon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at her home.
Sue was the daughter of the late William Broadus Pearce and Maggie Shelton Baker Pearce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Charles Harris; brothers Kelvin Pearce, Don Pearce, and Buck Pearce; and sisters Sarah Ozell Martin and Sandra Rose Pearce.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Sue is survived by her son Billy W. Harris and wife Toni, of Rolesville; daughter Rita Cox and husband Ron, of Louisburg; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dorene Upchurch.
