RITA S. DANIELS
August 27, 1951 - November 19, 2025

LOUISBURG - Rita Sellers Daniels, 74, of Louisburg, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 19, 2025.

Rita was the daughter of the late, Luby Lee and Eula Lee W. Sellers. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Cameron C. Daniels and her sister, Donna S. Collins.

Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Rita retired after 48 years of being a dairy farmer and being the bookkeeper for the family dairy along with her husband, Cameron and their two sons. She loved to watch the birds and work in her flower beds and yard when her health allowed. She was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Rock Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Melton Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Rita is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, John Daniels and Marc and Jennifer Daniels; grandchildren Natalie Daniels and fiancé Justin Freund, and Marissa Boone and husband Josh, all of Greenville; sisters, Brenda and Jerry Garner of Princeton; Fran and Ray Collier of Deep Run; brother Jerry Luby and Sylvia Sellers of Smithfield; brother-in-law, Les Collins and wife, Susan of Smithfield; mother-in-law, Shirley C. Daniels; sisters-in-law, Cornelia D. Eatman of Louisburg; Veronica Frye of Sophia, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rock Spring Baptist Church, Capital Improvement Campus Up Fit Fund, 34 Rock Spring Church Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends 4 - 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
