Fonda Lee Miller
July 12, 1954 - July 10, 2025

LOUISBURG, NC -- Fonda Lee Miller, 70, of Louisburg passed away at her home on July 10, 2025. Fonda was born on July 12, 1954 in Bismark, ND to the late Anton and Pauline Miller.

Fonda had many cherished family and friends and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Mauer (Greg): children Samantha Daigneault (Carson), Alexis Daigneault, Angela Kaminski (Danny), Amy Kennedy (James), and Michael Daigneault (Anita); adored grandchildren Joseph McCluskey, Dawson Kennedy, Brieanna Daigneault, Aubrey Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Aurora Porter, Jonathan Porter. She was loved dearly by Phillip Porter, Richard Parker, and numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will also be missed by her furry companions Max and Sophie.

In addition to her parents, Fonda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Daigneault.

Fonda received her BA in Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace University and graduated valedictorian with her Master's degree in counseling from Seton Hall. She had a deep, lifelong passion for supporting the most vulnerable in her community and worked especially hard advocating for domestic violence survivors, her students at Louisburg College and N.C. Weslyan College, and anyone else in need. She passionately believed in the humane treatment of animals and acceptance of equity of all people across all spectrums.

Services will be held at Louisburg United Methodist Church, 402 North Main Street, Louisburg, NC, 27549, at 11 a.m. on Monday July 21, 2025, with visitation following.

In lieu of flowers, Fonda's family asks to make art, spend time with loved ones in places you love or consider a donation to Safe Space (https://www.ncsafespace.org/copy-of-ways-to-help) or Franklin County Animal Shelter.
