LOUISBURG--Frances Phelps Joyner, 74, died Wednesday, Oct.16, 2019 at Transitions Life-Care. The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 8:30 at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery, with the Rev. Ryan Ellington officiating.
She was born to the late J. Tommy and Mozelle Shearon Phelps.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Douglas Joyner; son, Terry Joyner; sister, Betty Jean Stevenson; and her brother, Thomas Phelps.
Surviving: daughter, Lisa Edwards (JB); sons, Chris Joyner and David Joyner; brothers, Curtis, Douglas, Jimmy and Jerry Phelps; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
