JOHN "ED" EDWARD MOORE

YOUNGSVILLE--John "Ed" Edward Moore, 50, of Youngsville, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Louisburg. He was born in Wake County on July 15, 1969 a son of David and Mamie Moore. He was predeceased by his parents, as well as his father-in-law, R. Lee Pearce, and his niece Jessie Ferenzi.

Ed loved farming, especially on the farm he grew up on. He enjoyed working with the horses and the cows, and being outside. Ed always enjoyed the time spent with his wife Kelly and his family and friends. He will always be remembered for staying busy.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Moore; his sister, Jennifer Hill and her husband Bryan; niece, Allison Lewis and her husband Chris and their son Dax; nephew Hunter Hill; niece Maggie Hill, and honorary nephew Johnathan Thomason; mother-in-law, Joyce Pearce; brother-in-law, Scott Pearce and his wife Cathy; nephews Tristan and Trevor, nephew Logan Pearce and his wife Sarah and their children Kirsten and Elijah; brother-in-law, Harry Pearce and his wife Rose, and their son Jackson; and aunt and uncles: Johnnie and Curtis Williams, and William and Doris Andrews; cousins: Teresa McCall and husband Jimmy and Greg Williams and wife Alice. He will be missed by special co-workers at Johnny King Grading and numerous friends who were like family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, 2960 Tarboro Rd., Youngsville, NC 27596. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

The family received visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2019 at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest, and all other times at the home of his sister, Jennifer Hill.
