FRANKLINTON NC -- Funeral services for William Edward Alston, 68, who died on Saturday, September 19, 2026, will be held on Saturday, October 3, at 2 p.m. from the Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton, with Bishop Tony Long presiding.
Burial will follow in the Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.
Born May 1, 1958, he is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Lynn Parham (Roscoe), of Oxford, Sherry Harris of Brown Summit, Valeria Harris-Atwater of Greensboro; Brothers, Bennie T. "Tom" Alston of Jamaica, New York, Elliot McCoy Alston (Bertha) of Wake Forest, Kenneth Green and Larry Green, and Jerome Hawkins (Clara), all of Youngsville.
The viewing will be held at the Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Louisburg on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 5-6 p.m.
