Louisburg, NC --Funeral services for Bennett Hicks, age 53, who died on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, were held Tuesday, July 21, at 2 p.m. from the Pope's Chapel United Church of Christ in Franklinton, NC. Burial will follow in the Pope's Chapel Church cemetery.

Born August 26, 1972, he is survived by his daughters, Crystal Young of Charlotte, NC, Alexis Hicks of Sanford, NC, Ariel Hicks of Florida, Sierra Hicks and Kalisa Hicks both of Zebulon, NC; mother, Alma Person (Mark) of Louisburg, NC; sister, Lisa Hicks-Jones (Doriena) of Franklinton, NC; brother, Vernon C. Hicks (Shelandria) of Ruskin, Fla., and three grandchildren.

Viewing was Tuesday, July 21, from 1 until 2 p.m. at the Pope's Chapel United Church of Christ in Franklinton, NC.
