Louisburg, NC -- Funeral services for Janie E. Sherill, age 73, who died on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, will be held on Friday, July 24, at 1 p.m. from the Mt. Hebron United Holiness Church in Louisburg, NC. Burial will follow in the Oakwood cemetery.

Born June 19, 1952, she is survived by her sister, Ellen Ruffin of Louisburg, NC; and brothers, Robert Ruffin (Nancy) of Youngsville, NC, and James Smith (Jean) of Bunn, NC, and a host of family members and friends.

Viewing is Thursday, July 23, from 5 until 6 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC.
