Nashville, NC -- Funeral services for Sonnie Lee Whitehead, age 80, who died on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, will be held Saturday, June 13, at 3 p.m. from the Union Hill Baptist Church, Nashville, NC.
Chapel viewing will be held at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC on Friday, June 12, from 3 to 4 p.m. Church viewing will be held at the Union Hill Baptist Church in Nashville, Friday, June 12, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Born June 28, 1945, he is survived by his loving wife, Ella Jane Whitehead of the home; one daughter, Sonja "Suzette" Dixon (Chris) of Durham, NC; one son, Shawn Lee Whitehead (Lisa) of Nashville, NC; two sisters, Linda Moore (Arvelle) and Lillie Mae Arrington (Ronnie) both of Rocky Mt., NC; three brothers, Dan Allen Whitehead, Bruce Neal Whitehead and Alvin Rosevelt Whitehead (Josephine) all of Nashville, NC, five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
