Buddie Jones

Youngsville, NC -- Buddie Jones, age 75, of Youngsville, was born May 30, 1950, in Franklin County, NC, to the late Andrew Jackson Jones and Patrice Taylor Jones. Buddie died May 4, 2026, at his home in Youngsville.

In addition to his parents, Buddie was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. Hawkins Jones, five sisters, Rosa M. Roberts, Mae F. Jones, Catherine Bass, Mary Rodgers, and Mattie Jones, two brothers, Andrew and Jimmie Jones, and adopted mother and father, Ophelia and Oscar Harris.

He is survived by one sister, Bessie Jones Dunston of Franklinton, NC; one son, Jayden James Owensvy of Oxford, NC; two adopted daughters, Latoshia Perry of Franklinton, NC and Sharron Holden (James) of Kittrell, NC; brother-in-law, Jerome Hawkins (Clara) of Youngsville, NC; a caretaker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 16, at the Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremations in Franklinton, NC, Rev. Priscilla Massenburg officiated. Arrangements were by Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremations service.
