LOUISBURG, NC -- Deborah Hagwood Strickland, 71, of Louisburg, died Monday morning, December 29, 2025 at Duke University Hospital.

Debbie was born April 27, 1954, in Wake County the daughter of the late Compton and Christine Spence Hagwood and was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn George.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Fred Strickland; son, Fred M. Strickland; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Jason Conklin; and four grandchildren.
