LOUISBURG, NC -- John F. Harris, Jr, born April 2, 1926 in Greensboro, NC, died August 28, 2025 in Louisburg, at the age of 99.
Born April 2, 1926, he is preceded in death by his wife Johnsy Beaman Harris, and son James Bowen Harris.
He is survived by his children; John F. Harris, III (Lisa Rhea), Frances Harris Wilder (Ryon) and daughter in law, Tammy G. Harris; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Shiloh Church, 1636 Mort Harris Rd. Louisburg, on Wednesday Sept. 3 at 2 p.m. Family greeted friends after the service.
