BARBARA LONG GOSWICK (EVERETTE)

FRANKLINTON, NC -- Barbara Long Everette Goswick, 80, passed away on February 19, 2025 at her home in Franklinton, NC. She was born on April 22, 1944 to the late Wesley Long Everette and Rosa Hazel Patterson Timberlake.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Alton Wilson; a son, Alton Thomas Wilson; her brothers, Ronnie Lee Everette, Wesley Bryant Everette, and Aaron Earl Everette; and a sister, Judith Paulette Dillard.

Barbara is survived by her husband, James Goswick; her children, Jimmy Wilson, Sylvia Wilson, and Tracy Wilson; 8 grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren; her sisters, Evelyn E. McGhee, Stella R. Preddy, and Carrie Y. Pridgen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family were received from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 East Mason Street Franklinton, NC 27525, where a funeral service was held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Spencer Strickland officiating.

Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, NC.

Arrangements by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services.
