FRANKLINTON, NC--Katherine Ray Davis, 85, of Franklinton died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home. She was born September 23, 1937 to the late David and Ruby Ray. She was also preceded in death by a son, Durwood Davis Jr.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 28, in Wake Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Bright Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Durwood Davis, a son, Glenn Davis and wife Kathy of Franklinton, sister, Judy Goodwin, brother, Jimmy Ray and wife Alice, a daughter-in-law, Mona Davis, one grandson, and three great grandchildren.
