ALICE W. HORTON
October 22, 1921 - March 15, 2017

LOUISBURG - Alice Ellsworth Wheeler Horton, 95, of Louisburg, passed away Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Horton was the daughter of the late John Hatch and Jessie Lee Ambrose Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Till Horton, and her brother, Dan Wheeler.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 - 2 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home of Linda & James Stone.

Mrs. Horton is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy H. and Henry T. Jones; Linda H. and James T. Stone; son, Glenn T. "Mickey" Horton; granddaughter, Tonya S. Pearce and husband, Jon; niece, Debby Graham, and nephew, Gene Wheeler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church, Sanctuary Window Fund, 888 M.C. Wilder Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
