ANDREW T. MEDLIN
FRANKLINTON - Andrew Talmadge Medlin, 78, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 in a Louisburg nursing facility. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 15, in the Franklin Funeral Service chapel in Franklinton, with the Rev. Charles Summerlin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of Millard Medlin and Elizabeth Thompson Medlin. He retired from Sterling Mill where he worked in the card room for many years. Medlin was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie H. Medlin.

Surviving: a son, Robert “Bud” Medlin of Franklinton; a daughter, Sherry Hoyle of Franklinton; a brother, Leonard Medlin of LaCross, Va.; and a sister, Margaret McDaniel of LaCross, Va.; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight (Saturday, April 14) at the funeral home.
