GEORGE W. MARSHBOURNE, JR.
January 18, 1932 - March 3, 2015

LOUISBURG - George Warren Marshbourne, Jr., 83, of Louisburg, died Tuesday morning.

George was a son of the late George and Helen P. Marshbourne, Sr. He retired from the Air Force National Guard as a Master Sargent and the F.A.A. George was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Louisburg Baptist Church with Dr. Reggie Rushing officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private at Red Bud Baptist Church Cemetery.

George is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jean L. Marshbourne; daughter and son-in-law, Terri M. and Pete Tomlinson of Raleigh; son, Warren Marshbourne of St. Petersburg, FL.; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Elizabeth Marshbourne of Titusville, FL.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances Marshbourne of Spring Hope; Helen and Elton Bissett of Bailey; Mary Ann and Anwar Saadeh of Jacksonville, FL.; Betty and Bill Lewis of Raleigh; grandchildren, Elliott, Garrett, Carson, and Eric Tomlinson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Louisburg Baptist Church, Good Neighbor Fund, P.O. Box 730, Louisburg, NC 27549.
