HENDERSON - Bobby Fenner Moss, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 at UNC Chapel Hill Neurological Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Timothy J. Burgess. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Vance County, the son of the late Julian and Susie Harris Moss.

He served in the United States Coast Guard, was retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years as a rural mail carrier, and farmed in the Epsom Community. He was a member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church and was a charter member of the Epsom Lions Club.

Surviving: wife, Clareese Dement Moss; daughter, Pamela Moss Wilder (Gordon) of Henderson; son, Mitch Moss (Catherine) of Murrell's Inlet, S.C.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emily Eaves Moss, and a sister, Ruby M. Floyd.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 1699 Weldon's Mill Road, Henderson, NC 27537.

Arrangements are by Flowers Funeral Home.
