KATHERINE “KATHY” TALASKA
FRANKLINTON—Katherine Weaver “Kathy” Talaska, 54, died Sunday, March 17, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 20) at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was lead secretary for Wake County Public Schools.

Surviving: husband, James “Jim” Talaska; her children, Kimberly Tanner of Mooresville, and Shey Amberson of Tampa, Fla.; her mother, Jean Hill of Leichester, NC; sisters, Teresa Gayhart of Asheville and Dee Kelley of Simpsonville, SC; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Eugene Weaver, and by her brother, Chuck Weaver.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
