GARNER - Garnie E. “Andy” Anderson, 89, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Visitation was held Friday, April 2, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 4, in Haysi, Va.
He was born in Nancy, Va. He was a longtime employee of Pet Dairy and retired from the NC Department of Agriculture.
Surviving: wife, Lillie Anderson; daughters, Lynn Bryant of Denver, Colo., and Debra George (Tim) of Youngsville; son, David Anderson (Ellen) of Garner; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Gregory Anderson, and a grandson.
