Substitute Teacher Training at VGCC Franklin Campus | Tuesday, September 11, 2007 7:00 pm EDT | | Description: Vance-Granville Community College’s Franklin County Campus is offering a course to train anyone interested in becoming a substitute teacher. Classes will be held on Tuesdays, Sept. 11 through Nov. 13, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The course will cover topics such as lesson plans, responsibilities of Substitute Teachers, legal issues, and discipline. Participants who successfully complete the class will receive 3.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a Certificate of Completion.
The course will be taught by Jackie McNamara, an experienced VGCC instructor.
The cost of the course is $55.
