FRANKLINTON - Janie Knight, 88, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Franklinton on Thursday, Oct. 8. The viewing will be held from 2-3 p.m., with the funeral services following.
LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Morris Junior "Stokes Boy" Stokes, 66, who died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, were held Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg, with the Rev. Carl Wardrett officiating. Burial followed in the Hickory Grove Church cemetery.
