YOUNGSVLLE -- The State Highway Patrol confirmed the identity of a man killed in a fiery, single-vehicle wreck last month.
According to a report by Trooper J.O. Walter, Rodney Alan Dent, 34, of 730 Frazier Road, Youngsville, was driving a vehicle east on Darius Pearce Road the evening of Jan. 24 when he approached the intersection of Bethlehem Church Road.
Dent did not stop at a stop sign, crossed Bethlehem Church Road, and ran off the road before the vehicle hit a tree and caught fire.
