West Jefferson, NC -- Wilson Allen Driver Jr., age 76, passed away peacefully at home in West Jefferson on September 11, 2026.

Allen is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheila Jeffreys Driver; brothers Donnie Driver and Phil Driver (Donna); nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Gale Hoyle (Steve); many other family members and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Allen Driver, Sr. and Louise Driver.

A service will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 2 p.m. at Rock Spring Baptist Church, 34 Rock Springs Church Road, Louisburg, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Allen's memory with a memorial donation to either the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
