YOUNGSVILLE, NC -- Charlotte Harris Cooke, 84, passed away on August 22, 2026 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh, NC.

Charlotte was born in Adrian, WV on July 4, 1942. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Thomas Cooke; and her mother and stepfather, Dorothy Lane Lamb and Hunter Robert Lamb.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Zachary Thomas Cooke, of NC, Tracey Alecia Lynam and William Alexander Wiggs of Wake Forest, NC, and Tonya Lynam Beddingfield and husband Gilbert Beddingfield of Wake Forest, NC; four grandchildren; her sister, Ruby Weathers of Wake Forest, NC; and her brother, Stephen Robert Lamb of San Diego, CA.

An entombment service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday August 30, at Wake Forest Town Cemetery.

A celebration of Charlotte's life will also be held at 2 p.m. on December 6, 2026 at Historic Glen Royal Baptist Church in Wake Forest.
