LOUISBURG - Charles Wesley Medlin, 78, of Youngsville, died on Monday, July 9, at Louisburg Healthcare & Rehabilitation.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Larry and Amie Griffin Medlin.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, at Peach Tree Baptist Church Cemetery in Spring Hope.

Charles is survived by four sisters, Irene Medlin Dillard (Norman) of Wake Forest, Phyllis Medlin Dickerson of Franklinton, Marie Medlin Young (Mike) of Louisburg, and Connie Medlin Arnold (Donald Ray) of Louisburg; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Douglas Medlin.
