HENDERSON -- Floyd Collins, 86, of Henderson died Wednesday, June 25, at his home.

He was born on August 31, 1938 in Horry County, South Carolina to the late George Cleveland Collins and Mary Johnson Collins.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his sisters, Arlene Fryar and Helen Collins, as well as his brothers, George Collins and David Collins.

A funeral service will be Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Seth Kuykendall officiating.

Burial will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and visitors after the burial inside the fellowship hall of the church.

He is survived his wife Connie Smith Collins; two sons, Floyd Steven Collins (Renee) and Blaine Keith Collins (Lynda); several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Baptist Church in Floyd's memory.
