Louisburg, NC--Roberta Faye Posey Johnson, 95, of Louisburg, died October 7, 2023. She was born in Camp Wood, Texas, Real County on August 2, 1928 to the late Jesse and Ruth Wyatt Posey.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Sam M. Johnson; a daughter, Melba Fay Johnson; her older sister, Willa Mae Johnson; and her younger brother, James Marvin Posey.

She is survived by her children, Anne Robinson and her husband Wayne Robinson, Evelyn Roberts, her fiance' Bill, May Buchanan and her husband Tracy, Sammy Johnson and his wife Sylvia, Mary Johnson, Rose Satterwhite and her husband Carlton, Marvin Johnson and his wife Shelia, Janie Slaughter and her husband Tim, Betty Parker and her husband Chuck and Steve Johnson and his wife Jennifer; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 2-2:45 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, at Hickory Rock Baptist Church, 1580 Fire Tower Rd., Louisburg, where her services will be held at 3 p.m., with Reverend Charles Haley officiating. The family will hold a private burial following the service.
