CASTALIA, NC -- Kaye Preddy Dorsey, 75, of Castalia died February 18, 2022. Kaye was born August 28, 1946 to the late Robert "Bob" and Flora Worley Preddy. In addition to her parents, Kaye was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Dorsey as well as her sister, Margaret Gupton and a brother, Bobby Preddy.

Kaye is survived by her daughter, Lisa Fobes (Rodney); sons, Tommy Hight and Johnny Hight (Tammy); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Dalton Preddy; nieces; nephews; her sister-in-law Janet Jones.

Graveside funeral services were 1 p.m., Sunday, February 20, at the Wood Family Cemetery on Fred Parrish Rd. Castalia, NC. The family received friends immediately following the service.
