GREENSBORO--Funeral services for Phillinda Alesia Harris-Smith, 47, of Greensboro, formerly of Louisburg, who died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, will be held Sunday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. at the Louisburg High School Auditorium. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.

Surviving: daughter, Quindetta Harris; sons, Jamel and Ramel Harris, all of the home; her mother, Edith Harris Alston of Greensboro; her father, John Earl Cooke (Treva) of Louisburg; a paternal grandmother, Carrie Cooke of Louisburg; sisters, Tonya Harris, Tammy Cooke, Laura Brown, and Chandler Cooke, all of Louisburg, Cherissa Alston of Greensboro, Sebrina Butler (Jimmie) of Jamestown; brothers, John Cooke (Dana) of Bunn; Terrance Long (Yenica) of Zebulon; and six grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Saturday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
