CASTALIA - Eppie Clifton "E.C." Brown, 73, died Monday morning, Aug. 13, 2018 at his home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Brown family cemetery, 152 Bear Branch Lane, Castalia.

He was a son of the late Ralph and Grace Wood Brown. He was a member of Red Bud Baptist Church and an Air Force veteran.

Surviving: his wife of 50 years, Linda S. Brown; daughter, Dalena (Alfonso) Raya of Castalia; son, Nick (Janis) Brown of Apex; sister, Jamie (Joe) Allen of Clayton; brothers, Don (Alice) Brown of Zebulon, James (Wanda) Brown of Kenly, Kirby (Melissa) Williams of Purlear, N. C.; Jerry (Teri) Brown of Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
