WARRENTON - Jennie Virginia Brown Baskett, 94, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at Maria Parham Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County to Vance Brown and Celia Moore Brown.

Surviving: daughters, Brenda Baskett and Loretta Baskett, both of Alexandria, Va., Doris Baskett of the home and Mary Neal of Warrenton; son, Joseph Baskett of Warrenton; sisters, Mary Branch and Celia Davis; brothers, Joseph Brown and Walter Brown; and seven grandchildren.

Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 3, in the funeral home chapel and at the church prior to the service.
