LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Jennie "Tennie" Evans, 76, who died Monday, Dec. 21, will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Castalia, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Dorraine Tucker of Bunn and Diane Blackmond (Derek) of Louisburg; sons, James Evans (Jacqueline) of Youngsville and Lamont Evans (Kristy) of the home; sisters, Inetta Evans of Wilson and Barbara Evans of Louisburg; brothers, Mike Evans (Lucy) and Percy "Bob" Evans, all of Castalia, Douglas "Bear" Evans (Cat) and James "Tom" Evas (Earnestine), all of Louisburg; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, Dec. 23, from 3 to 7 p.m.
