FRANKLINTON —McComas “Mac” Burgess, 61, died Thursday, June 5, 2014. Graveside services, with casual dress, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton. The Rev. Clyde Waiden will officiate.

He was a life resident of Franklin County. He was born to the late Byron B. Burgess and Ruby Phelps Burgess.

Surviving are: his cousin, Linda and Johnny Pearce; and several close friends.
