FRANKLINTON- Funeral services for Alberta H. Smith, 63, who died Monday, March 17, 2014, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Popes Chapel United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Leroy Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, John W. Smith of the home; daughters, Renea Smith of the home and Kesha Smith of Henderson; son, Tyrone Hayes of Raleigh; sisters, Mary Fay Jackson of Richmond, Va., Mosella Perry and Fannie Taylor, both of Kittrell, Eliza Greene and Patricia Privette, both of Franklinton, and Sandra Smith of Youngsville; and six grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
