GRANVILLE COUNTY- James Thomas Paschall died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Granville Health Systems in Granville County.  He was the son of the late James Thomas Henry Augustus and Lizzie Edwards Paschall. Hailing from Norfolk, Va.

His employment  included working at a saw mill, doing construction work and working  as custodian at South Granville High School, where he retired.

 He was a member of Synama Grove Baptist  Church.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Dec. 8, at Synama Grove Baptist Church by the Rev.Lynwood Timberlake. Burial followed in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

 Surviving: sister, Hazel Lee Crump of Durham; son, Gerald L. Paschall of Durham; daughter,  Darene P. Long of Franklinton; three grandchildren: one great-grand child; and a host of other relatives and friends.
