FRANKLINTON - Clifford “Bro” Lloyd, 78, died Monday morning, Feb. 5, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 7) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest, with the Rev. Bill Spence and the Rev. Ronald Pippin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

He was born in Franklin County, son of the late Macy Pleasants Lloyd and Hubert Lloyd. He was retired from Sterling Cotton Mill in Franklinton.

Surviving: his wife, Minnie Medlin Lloyd; daughters, Joyce West (Len) and Jean Williams; sons, Tim Lloyd (Grace), Wayne Lloyd (Debbie); brothers and sisters, Edna Privette (Jasper), Helen Parrish (Paul), Wallace Lloyd (Connie), Joan Woodruff, Julian Lloyd, Hubert Lloyd (Altina); eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
