LOUISBURG - Luther Burrell Jr., 91, died Thursday, April 25, 2013. Funeral service was held Monday, April 29, at Haywood Baptist Church, Louisburg. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Patricia Long of Louisburg, Priscilla Harris of Greensboro, Linda D. Williams (Robert), Brenda B. Williams (Larry) of Henderson, Celestine Woodard (James Lee) of Rocky Mount; sons, Raymond D. Burrell (Gertrude) of Goldsboro, Ronnie Burrell of Raleigh, Roger Burrell of Louisburg and Timothy Burrell (Annette) of Castalia; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
