RALEIGH - Ora Jeffreys “Jeff” Chamblee, 88, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Oaks of Mayview. Funeral service was held Friday, March 22, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Raleigh, with the Rev. Steve Tillis officiating. Entombment followed in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Marion Jeffreys and Beatrice Strickland Jeffreys. She graduated from Bunn High School. She and her husband, Phillip Edward Chamblee (now deceased) owned and operated Jeff Chamblee’s Florist and Gifts and she also worked for Johnson Jewelers for many years.

Surviving: son-in-law, Mike Turner of Raleigh; granddaughters, Jennifer Kay Bocock (Chris) of Knightdale and Amanda Fay Turner of Raleigh; two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda Chamblee Turner.
