KNIGHTDALE - Christine Upchurch Scoggins, 83, died at her home on Thursday, May 27, 2010. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 30, at Faith Baptist Church, Youngsville. Burial followed in Morrisville Baptist Church cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Scoggins.

Surviving: daughter, Debbie Richardson (Mike) of Youngsville; sons, Mike Scoggins (Susan) of Raleigh, Glenn Scoggins of Raleigh, Ronnie Scoggins of Bunn and Tommy Scoggins (Sherry) of Wendell; brothers, Franklin Upchurch of Morrisville and George Upchurch of California; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for the Franklin County Relay For Life, 4093 NC 98 W., Youngsville, NC 27596.
